True Care New Day Centre

True Care Newday Center is a newly established safe haven for teenage mothers in Dagoretti Sub-County, founded in 2023 to support young mothers who have experienced sexual violence and early motherhood. The centre is recognized for its impactful work despite limted resources. 

Currently it supports 20 girls and their babies, helping them reintegrate into school while providing counselling, childcare, and vocational skills training through partnerships with local organizations.

Inspired by her own struggles in accessing education, the founder is committed to giving young mothers a second chance at a brighter future. However the center faces challenges, including financial constraints for rent, food, medical care, and education support.
